Do I need a hearing test?
A hearing check is as simple as ‘raising your hand, when you hear a beep’. There are a lot more reasons why you should have your hearing tested. We’ve listed a simple few. how reliable are hearing tests on the internet? I recently took a hearing test on the internet at http://www.my-hearingworld.com and it said I probably have a hearing loss. Well it’s true I do have hearing loss and have hearing aids. It’s been a few years since the last time I was at the audiologist office for a test and should probably go. Honestly the only reason I don’t is because I can’t afford another set of hearing aids. what do you think?
The hearing tests online can point out a possible hearing loss, but do truly depend on the equipment you are listening to and the space the test is being taken in. This could result is skewed results. The best best is to visit your local office and get tested. Let us know how we can help.
